It is very easy to install. There's nothing wrong with its Bluetooth connection. It's a perfect size, neither too big nor too small. Android car works perfectly. My 2016 Honda Pilot doesn't come with Android Auto or Apple Carplay. They added it in my second year and didn't add its upgrade path on previous models. This device solves my frustration of not being able to use my phone in the car in a very useful way. This stuff really works. The product itself works very well. However, the arm attached to the windshield is missing a hex nut. Also, if you hang it from the windshield, the arm will block the dashcam. If you turn the screen upside down to try to solve the problem, it won't flip the screen, everything will be upside down.

This stuff is awesome. I opened the box as soon as I got it, because I had been waiting for this. I have a vintage car, it's aux, and it has a 3x6 screen. I put it in the car. It took me about 10 minutes from start to finish. Make calls, send messages, play music and use maps. Next I will set up the backup camera, which looks easy. It was worth it, more than I expected.

Dual compatibility with Apple Carplay and Android Auto is a big plus. I mainly use iPhone, so Apple Carplay is my first choice. Connecting your phone is as easy as setting up Bluetooth for the first time. The wireless connection was stable, and I didn't experience any nasty disconnections or delays, which I've heard could be an issue with other aftermarket screens.

It makes traveling a lot easier. In the past, when I traveled to some places, I would use my phone's gps without a car mount because it would be inconvenient. Now that I have a separate Apple Car playback screen, I can use my phone for other things while traveling. The large screen and viewing distance keep me from getting distracted when I look down at my phone for directions, as I used to.

I have an Acura RSX 2005 and everything in this car is old and it actually has a tape recorder. To be honest, I didn't have many expectations because I felt insecure about how I should work. It's sweet because it doesn't bind you too much -- Android cars or Apple parking lots... You can play it on the screen, so you can put everything from Netflix to YouTube or whatever you want on the screen. You can't do that with an Android car or an Apple car in stock. With this feature alone, it can be used for other things, not including cars. But in the car, it also provides you with a backup camera and dashcam... It would be useful for an old car that doesn't have those things

She loves it so far, and it controls music and everything with ease, just like a new car. My Nissan versa doesn't have a parking lot or a backup camera... However, it does have room for this parking lot. Everything is plug and play except for the backup camera. I used a video online to install it. Carplay works well enough to find Google Maps without looking at my phone.

It's a great way to upgrade an old car. The car has a spare CAM, but it's not as good quality, but with Hererod's screen, it's easier to see any moving vehicle or person. Using the gps app on this device is a benefit, not having to keep the phone outside or on a stand to track it, which is amazing.

I bought this specifically for the music and GPS features, but I didn't even get a chance to use it because the suction cup barely worked, I even tried the sticker and it kept falling off my dashboard and Windows. I love the screen and camera, but the FM frequency sounds like my music is being drowned out and the aux is no better, so I can't use it to play music and have to connect to something else. Overall, the screen is great, but the audio and the way to connect to the car is not great because of how expensive it is.

After starting the car, the automatic connection takes about a minute. After that, it works like a wired connection. If your car has Bluetooth, your phone will still be connected normally, but you can control the music through the screen and phone if needed.

It's a really cool product for those of us who don't have the latest cars and the biggest screens. I like that it integrates front and rear cameras and has a decent range of installation options. Super easy to set up/connect to my phone and I was up and running in less than 5 minutes. My 2013 mini was actually no longer connected to stereo (never Bluetooth), so I disabled it and added a Bluetooth car stereo system that connects to it and makes listening, adjusting volume and equalizers in the car very easy and safe.

Very straightforward installation, I went a little further and the fuse taps went into the fuse box and looked cleaner. Over the past week, the sucker has held up well in the California heat. This replaced my car screen with a ghost touch, and it did not disappoint. It refreshed my old Camry 2014 and carried it into the future on par with the new model. I like to simply step into the car, connect my phone wirelessly and launch Android Auto.

The screen itself is very clear and bright with automatic brightness, which is very cool. I use Android Auto and my wife has an iPhone, so she uses CarPlay, so it's satisfying for both of us. Now I'm not sure if the front-facing camera is really 2.5K (I think because of the resolution), it looks more like 1080p, which is still good. Again, for less than $100, I don't think you can beat this. The rear camera just does some work for wiring and mounting everything, but it's not bad either. I combined it with my existing rear camera so that it added everything and was able to record, which was awesome!

Very easy to set up and connect to the car. The screen is clear and bright. It was a little bigger than expected, but I didn't check the measurements. The suction cup attachment is only glued to the windshield or infotainment screen. It doesn't stick to the dashboard, that's what the tape is for. I'm using the suction cup attachment to position it right above the car's infotainment screen.

My car has a backup camera, but only when backing up, because my car is a camper, so I really prefer a backup camera that I can check at all times. It's all done! My phone, which is an iphone, connects to both the parking lot and the original car stereo via Bluetooth at the same time, and you can choose not to use the Aux cable (if your car does have a stereo with Bluetooth).

When it comes to installing anything to do with electricity, I'm the obstacle. This is my kryptonite, but if you only use the lighter socket, you don't have to worry about that. At first, I was very excited to use it because it had many similar elements to real CarPlay in the car - however, after two days of use, it stopped connecting. I did all the recommended troubleshooting, rebooted and reset everything, but it stopped working. Very disappointed that it had so much hope. Also, the mirror Settings don't work.

So, if you use this device specifically for GPS or dashcams, that's great. Where it falls short is in its audio quality. The speakers on the device themselves are of poor quality and the only solution is to go through another FM transmitter and even then the audio quality is poor. All in all, GPS and dashcams are great, but don't expect to enjoy music while driving.

It's almost an all-in-one solution. You have Google Maps, dashcams, even backup cameras. When the system is powered on, it will start, and the software will automatically activate the dashcam recording. If you want to put it on the dashboard, it has both a bonding pad and a windshield suction holder. A micro sd card is a nice addition.

I've been using my iPhone on Google Maps and Waze for years, but this Herero screen and dashcam is a game changer for Carplay. Syncing to Bluetooth is easy and only takes a few seconds. Carplay functions perfectly and gives me a larger screen to view map directions. The speakers were loud enough to hear clearly, but I was also able to play audio through the Volvo XC60 sound system. Making phone calls sounds great, especially on the other end through the built-in microphone. My biggest challenge was choosing where and how to install the screen.

The front camera is built into the unit and the rear camera is easy to install. The rear camera wire is long enough to reach the back of my car. When I opened the package, the first thing that came to mind was the huge size of the screen. It's big and nice. When I powered it on, I noticed that the screen was nice and bright. Setup is very simple and it only takes two seconds to connect to Bluetooth. The basic setup functions are easy to get started with. The function of the dashcam is very fast and the Settings can be adjusted to record automatically. The overall construction quality is very good. It's hard to find equipment of this quality at the price I paid. This device is an incredible find.

My wife had an escape in 2012. That SUV's mainframe is hard to upgrade. It was very effective on the dashboard and perfectly suited her needs. I ordered this for my sister as a gift because her car doesn't have a reverse camera and her dashcam suddenly stopped working about two months ago. The screen was a little big in her car, but we managed to put it on her dashboard without too many signs blocking the driver. It comes with touchscreen capabilities and a 1080p rear camera, which we can set to reverse viewing mode and attach a red line to either of the reverse lights on the back. Our camera quality looks very sharp so far, and my sister really likes it because the se can use Apple Parking mode and has a larger navigation map on the screen instead of the small screen on the phone. We've had it on her car for over a month now and it's still working well.

This is definitely a game changer for using Apple platters. My girlfriend's car doesn't have a screen, I installed it on her car, plus all the wire management, and it looks clean. I like this product very much. I've been thinking about buying a CarPlay for my car. My car is old and doesn't support CarPlay or android auto. Super easy to set up. Peel off the sticker, plug in two wires, and you're done. The sound quality through the auxiliary cable is very good, and the display is large and bright. Makes my Honda feel like a new car. We like that we can make Siri play with anything and not like anything and not pay attention to the road. Definitely recommend. The dashcam is the cherry on top. I've always needed one. It's very effective.

Got mine in an old Camry with no screen. I didn't want to install it permanently, so I replaced it from one of my old car phone mounts and it worked just fine as a ball-and-socket joint. Everything went well. Responsive. There is a lack of instructions for installing a backup camera, probably because every car is different, but it would be nice to have an example of installing a picture

I have a 2008 Ford Focus and want more than just providing basic Bluetooth audio. I can still use my steering wheel controls for media playback with Android Auto. The screen itself is sharp and sensitive enough. Navigation on menus is less smooth than on high-end consoles, but it doesn't have much of an impact either. I didn't use the camera because my position blocked the front camera and I didn't want to run the rear camera. But for the price, the included camera is a nice bonus for those who want it.

After my cousin told me about my car screen with carplay and android display, I bought one for his birthday and a second for my other car, which is my third every day. I recently bought a 2016 Camry that doesn't have any advanced CarPlay or dashcam technology, and as a fairly new driver, I decided to buy this tablet because it includes both a tablet and a camera. It is user friendly. It took me about 50 minutes to arrange the whole thing. After the first connection, it automatically connects to my iphone. Video clarity is good, and you can even use Siri for voice commands. Dash can help me park and drive safely.

In my old Jeep Wrangler, I thoroughly enjoyed this alternative to the infotainment system. It's a great addition to my car, which only has a regular radio. It allows easy navigation and listening to music. Point the camera. My setup was hampered by the installation, but was still using the options sent in the box. It comes with a backup camera, which I'm planning to install, but as of this writing it hasn't. There was some slight lag in navigating the menu, but that was most likely just my phone's Bluetooth connection.

I have an older model without CarPlay. This is my work car, and it's easy to upgrade. I like the audio output option. I am currently using AUX with a Bluetooth adapter (I already have this). The main advantage of this unit compared to other units I have owned in the past is the ease of installation. Some of the more customized models require more wiring/installation work. The downside is that it may take up a bit of windshield space once installed, but honestly I don't have a problem with visibility at all. The screen is slightly larger than the average size screen of these models, providing a vivid and easy-to-understand picture. The camera is also a great addition, providing a higher quality picture, whether in the front or rear of the vehicle. Once installed, controlling the unit is also very intuitive and simple, and if you're familiar with the android automatic interface, you won't have control issues.

I like that it has gravity detection. So if I get into an accident, it stores the event and I can use the record of the accident to clarify details that might be fuzzy after being shaken. I also like the way it automatically darkens and lightens, making it easier to watch in different lights. The screen definition is very good. And it's easy to connect.

The unit works pretty well on its own, and I'd say, considering what you get, it's on par or slightly better than most wireless CarPlay systems in new cars. The build quality is good, the screen quality is on par with a new car, the audio quality is better than expected, and the setup is easy. They also include multiple mounts, a pre-installed SD card, a trimmer to help hide cords, and a fairly high-quality backup camera.

Installation is very simple, only the original car charger is needed, just plug in, and the phone connection is also convenient. The installation of the parking lot was easy, taking about five minutes, but the backup camera took about an hour. carplay's connection was smooth, connecting as soon as the ignition was turned on, but airplay occasionally experienced hiccups. The user interface is easy to use and has all the features I would normally expect on a standard CarPlay. Overall satisfied with the purchase.

I wanted to install a screen on my Tundra without having to dismantle the factory radio. This screen came in handy. I now have wireless Android Auto (or CarPlay, if I want), and I don't have to take out my factory radio, and certainly for a fraction of the cost. I ended up wiring power cables to the dashboard, so only the power cables came out of the dashboard and connected to the screen. I'm using window mounts right now, but I'll use dashboard mounts in the future.

My wife and I have had a hard time with Android cars over the years - getting it to work reliably on her Mazda has been a challenge. For my old Odyssey, which has Bluetooth but nothing else, I thought I'd give this wireless car stereo a try, which is actually an Android Auto/CarPlay add-on for older cars. It has a spare camera and a front-facing camera, although to be honest, I didn't buy the unit for this feature, so I'm not in a position to comment on it.

I really like my car screen. My car is a 2017 model, so it doesn't have airplay, just a regular Bluetooth touchscreen. It's great to have gps, camera and some apps on this device. I love how easy it is to set up and that you can play audio on the actual screen or through your car. gps is amazing because it's the same thing you use in your phone, but much bigger. I can't talk on the rear camera because I have one in my car and I'll skip this installation. For this price, I do believe this is a great gadget. I can suck my lower body on the dashboard so it doesn't block my view. Always check your state's regulations regarding dashboard camera/screen size.

This is a review of the 9-inch wireless dashcam with carplay and android auto. This was tested on Android cars with the Tesla Y and the Toyota highlander. This is a 4k front, 1080p rear dashcam. If connected properly, it can also be made into a reverse camera. The rear is wired and installation varies from vehicle to vehicle.

The unit's user interface is fast and the rear camera is compatible with the existing reverse camera of another dashcam I already own. I recommend running the AUX cable on the right side of the device and then power it off on the left side, otherwise there will be a buzzing sound that will drive you crazy. Glad it comes with an SD card, but wish it was bigger. It will have to be replaced soon, because 4k video will fill it up quickly. Excellent performance in the 2012 Honda Civic.

The dashcam will record both the front and rear views and comes with a 64gb memory card in case of an accident or other noteworthy event. It has a large touch screen and is very responsive. It connects easily to my Android phone, but will also connect to Apple phones to use their navigation information. The screen is also larger than the one that comes with the car. You can project onto the screen and copy the screen of your phone. It's very nice!

The product has a 4k front dashcam resolution. It is available for both Carplay and Airplay. The default audio output is through the dashcam speakers. To get audio through your car stereo system, you need to connect your phone to your car via Bluetooth. With Airplay, you can only get audio through the dashcam speakers. That's better than the screen that came with my 2019 Buick. The backup camera is sharper and connects to a 2010 Chevrolet truck via Bluetooth. (2019) Buick needs to connect to a phone via USB. The screen itself is bigger than the one on the Buick.

Amazing, large screen, quick response touch screen - 01/24/2024

When looking for the perfect CarPlay display for my car, I did some research. I chose this model because of its specifications and price. I wanted a moderately sized display with a good picture quality and touch screen functionality with little to no response lag. I'm happy to say I found that in this project. With an upcoming road trip, I wanted to keep my map app out of my phone screen. This helped me achieve this and now I like to run the map whenever I want while driving. I paired this screen with the MagSafe phone stand/charger as my ideal control center. The setup was really simple, as I had it up and running in 10 minutes. This is the perfect size for my dashboard and it looks great.

I'm excited to get this CarPlay for my 2015 kia optima. I received the item, but the spare camera was missing from my order. I contacted the seller. I'm still waiting for an answer. Overall, I really like this device. It's easy to set up. The screen is very clear and responsive with no lag. One of the issues I encountered was the sound quality of using the auxiliary cable.

Easy to install, the front camera works well, it's easy to connect to android, the screen is large and bright enough, the FM connection is better for reducing radio interference, reducing audio quality, and clearer via aux connection. It's a good stereo for the price, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a gps screen who hasn't hooked up a backup camera yet, so can't comment on it.

I can't believe how well this thing works. I'm glad I decided to install this on my 2012 Volkswagen Routan van, the factory Bluetooth on this car was so bad that it made us have to use auxiliary stereo cables to listen to things on the phone, and now with this display, the Apple Car playback works well, the Bluetooth works well, and it comes with both forward and reverse viewing cameras, which is the icing on the cake. Highly recommended for those who are hesitant

I've been using it for a few months now, and it works great if you only have one phone paired. If you have multiple phones, it's an absolute nightmare to configure between the two. But it doesn't matter to me because I always drive. My wife disconnected her phone. It's no big deal. Also, the AirPlay feature doesn't work. It simply redirects you to a CarPlay screen that doesn't allow YouTube or similar content. It sucks, but it is what it is. Overall, I'm very happy with it. I bought it for the biggest purpose of playing the Apple Car on my Lexus GX460 because the whole entertainment system is so outdated.

I bought this for my brother, who has a Lexus with no navigation. In addition to requiring a power plug (which he can hide neatly), the device can automatically Bluetooth-connect to his car. His cell phone is wirelessly connected to the device in the parking lot. The whole process seemed problem-free, and the audio quality of the calls and music was good. For the price, this is the biggest upgrade you can make to your car's audio.

I really like this thing because I need it, so it's awesome, and now my phone connects via Bluetooth instead of via auxiliary (I have an iphone, which is also hard to do when you need to charge your phone). My biggest problem is that the instructions are not clear or thorough at all - that is, the device itself is very easy to understand. The rear camera is a different matter and does need some better clarification. I did try the FM feature, but I could never get it to sound good, but I think you have to choose what station to play, not sure. Again, better instructions could be used, and they don't even mention it in the "manual", but I digress. I would buy it again 100%, the camera is super sharp, the features are great, no big complaints.

There was a buzz in the speakers, but I just turned the radio off when I wasn't using music, but it was annoying to do so. Also, gps doesn't know which direction you're facing when you stop, but it largely fixes it when you start moving.

A little skeptical at first, but I'm glad I got this! It's a great replacement for my brand new car radio. Such a simple plug and play mode. The screen is wider than most cars I drive to work, built-in, and responsive. Highly recommend! It takes a minute for the car to connect after it starts, but that's my only "scam." Once connected, I never lost the connection. 10/10!

It took me less than 10 minutes to install, and I really had a new car with Apple Carplay. With the large screen, driving is safe and easy. To be honest, I don't know how I ever drove with an iPhone. Having an older car with only auxiliary inputs, I'm more than happy to have new features again. The plug-and-play operation is simple enough, and the dashboard stand worked better for me than the windshield, but appreciated both options, CarPlay worked well with assist and FM transfers, and phone mirroring from YouTube and other phone apps worked well. Both the front and rear cameras have good resolution

It works well even in cold temperatures - I've never had any problems. I also like that it includes a built-in dashcam. Although I have used my own, I did use the rear dashcam. Both have high quality images and videos. I highly recommend this product!

The design, specifications, performance and price all look great. My car spent the night outside and the temperature was about 32 degrees Fahrenheit. The radio is broken. Take it home - Start work in 30 minutes. This was done several times. My conclusion - it doesn't work at low temperatures. Send it back. It might be good in Florida.

It was bought to change my original central controller back to the original one because the aftermarket controller didn't work so well. All was well until the rear camera was installed. In the description, they said no rear camera was included. So I prepared the new RCA camera and items to match my old camera. I was surprised when I found the new rear camera in the package, however, it's a 4-inch camera and a 3.5mm auxiliary inch. The screen doesn't support my old connection. I have to replace all the wiring... It was painful, but now it's finally working.

I was surprised at how high the camera resolution was. I can see the license plate number clearly and easily. Good performance even in the dark. The device itself is quite large, really like a near-full-fledged screen. It comes in three ways, one with a suction cup with a fairly long arm, the other with a double-sided sticky base, or you can screw it in.

So far, so good! I don't know how much I like this or how good it can be, but my car doesn't have an Apple play and I wanted to find a way to boost my iPhone's capabilities beyond just using Bluetooth to play music. I really want to be able to look at my map. This is easy to connect to my Bluetooth and has worked well so far. I've been using it for a few weeks. When I'm able to upload a video for people who might be interested in live-action reviews and videos, I'll upload a video to show what it actually looks like.

I just got mine, and I think it's amazing so far. It's a smart screen with a dashboard and a rear camera that's easy to set up. The only downside is that it doesn't adjust from left to right only up and down. But the screen is large, clear, and vividly displayed. I connected mine via Bluetooth. I can use it as a GPS and can display it separately from my music SPOTIFY. It is compatible with iPhone and Android phones. Very useful!

This little device is awesome! Not only do I like that I now apply car play in the car, it's also portable so I can use it as a speaker and it mirrors my phone so I can watch TV on it! It works on both Apple and Android phones. I haven't connected the backup camera yet because my car already has it, but I'm keen to see the quality of the video, and the dashcam quality is good, so I'm hoping the backup camera does too. The only thing I would change is that it's possible to offer several different types of mounts for different cars, but other than that, it's great!

This product is absolutely stunning and I highly recommend it. It was very good value for money and I must say that on the day I received the product the seller had already contacted me and told me that if I had any questions they would be more than happy to help and answer any and all of my questions. Installation is fairly easy and does take some time, depending on how much you want to hide the wires. You can definitely install it yourself like I did, but if you're not mechanical, you're better off having someone else do it.

One of my biggest pet peeves with car navigation is that it can only be connected via a wired cable. This product is well suited to solve this problem. It's instantly navigational via Bluetooth. In addition, through autoplay, it can play music, make phone calls, voice commands. It also has an integrated dashcam and optional rear dashcam.

The quality and graphics of this device are amazing !!!! The video resolution on the dashcam is Cristal's clear. Love how easily you connect it, and it even has a rear-view camera if you want to too. I have a 2016 Nissan Altima! It doesn't have CarPlay built in! I bought this device to use CarPlay. I'm so glad I got this! Installation is very simple and takes only a few minutes! I can use my system sound to play songs and maps and work very well. It also comes with a built-in front camera and a separate rear camera. The clarity of this camera is superb. When I get in the car, it automatically detects my phone and connects to CarPlay automatically. If my friends' cars didn't have CarPlay built in, I would definitely recommend them buy this

It's wide, but not so wide that it affects visibility, and the camera quality is super good and easy to install. This parking lot is amazing! The main reason I say that is because I know I have a dashcam to protect myself in case of an accident and I feel much safer. Not only that, being able to see the gps so clearly and being able to change the music without touching the phone made me feel much more secure! This parking lot has no delay and is very responsive. There's never anything wrong with this! I have to say, if your car doesn't have built-in parking or a dashcam/reverse camera, get this one! (The backup camera works perfectly at night!)

I bought this for our car because we wanted a backup camera, a big map screen, and an audio player. It looks very well done. Camera images are sharp even in low light. It also acts as a dashcam. It connects wirelessly to our phones. The display is powered by a supplied USB-C cable that connects to the lighter plug, which is also an FM transmitter. It has a USB charger, so you can charge your phone at the same time. It can play audio through an FM radio or auxiliary cable.

I've been eating it for about a month. The front-facing camera is crisp and clear. I had a little bump up there. The sound quality is also great. My only problem is the backup camera. It's flawed, doesn't focus, and it's blurry. I emailed customer service and they sent me a new one for free! So I appreciate that. I'm also happy that it comes with two extra stickers and two different installation options for the backup camera.

This is a very convenient dashcam with front and rear cameras, no need to glue it to the windshield. It fits perfectly in my old car (2011 Mitsubishi Lancer), has no backup camera or entertainment screen, and it solves my CarPlay problem perfectly, it's wireless CarPlay, so my iPhone automatically connects to the screen when I start the car. Working on the rear camera. That's great.

It's for my husband's 2011 Lexus, and he loves it. It's super easy to set up and works like the built-in parking lot in my 2022 Honda, but there are more other great features. It is equipped with a front-facing and backup camera with excellent video solutions. A big plus is that it has a mirror screen feature, so we can play movies for the kids on road trips. I've been using it for almost a month. The system was responsive, the navigation was loud, and the screen brightness was so high that I had to turn it down a bit - I could even set it to auto brightness! The resolution of the front and rear cameras is very good and very clear. The ability to record both front and back at the same time is simply awesome! This is good news for old cars!

The cable is poorly placed. Arms are hard to keep steady unless you twist them. The stickiness is strong, but I take mine off so it doesn't get stolen, and the sticks get less and less each time. The rear CAM needs a suction or viscous point.
